The 12 songs of Wüstenberg’s debut album “THE KING’S GAMBIT” are currently being recorded at the renowned “Studio Nord” in Bremen (Bela B., Die Fantastischen Vier, Heinz Rudolf Kunze, Joy Denalane, and many more).

 

In addition to Gregor Henning (Studio Nord), Franz Wüstenberg is collaborating on this album with producer and songwriter Jörn Schlüter who has made a name for himself as the mastermind behind the Bremen/Hamburg-based Americana virtuosos SOMEDAY JACOB and through his work with GRAMMY®-winning artists such as Vance Powell (Jack White) and Ryan Hewitt (Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Lumineers).

 

Furthermore, he has been writing for the prestigious ROLLING STONE magazine for over 20 years.
